Our Story
Restoring Vehicles Since 2006
Jetstream Automotive & Custom was founded in 2006 by Red Seal automotive technician Jason Stoch.
What began with a lifelong interest in cars grew into a full-service restoration and custom automotive shop serving vehicle owners throughout Vancouver Island and beyond.
Today, Jetstream restores and builds classic cars, pickup trucks, motorcycles, hot rods, specialty vehicles, and rare collector automobiles.
Our main focus is complete turn-key restoration. We can take a vehicle from its initial teardown through media blasting, metal fabrication, body and paint, mechanical work, upholstery, assembly, and final finishing.
Because these services are completed under one roof, we can maintain a consistent vision for the finished vehicle throughout the project.
Meet Jason Stoch
Working on Cars Before He Could Drive
Jason’s interest in vehicles began long before Jetstream opened its doors. He started working on cars before he was old enough to drive and purchased his first car at the age of 15.
After growing up on the Saanich Peninsula, Jason spent five years working at a German automotive specialty shop, where he developed his technical knowledge and earned his Red Seal as an automotive technician.
At the same time, he continued building vehicles in his home shop. Working next to an automotive body shop also gave him the opportunity to learn more about bodywork, paint preparation, and vehicle refinishing.
In 2006, Jason combined his mechanical experience, restoration knowledge, and passion for building vehicles to establish Jetstream Automotive & Custom.
